Me watching that same white lgbt friend get into every current problematic media then get defensive and nervous when i bring up how its bigoted.

#levi speaks #pro tip: maybe if you find yourself drawn to bigoted/problematic media repeatedly #thats a sign thats theres something bigoted within yourself drawing you to it #maybe some internalized shit or a bigotry havent addressed yet #however you wanna complain about critical consumption and all that bs but its sus when you come up liking lots of racist media #especially if your white and doing that #like im goyim but i have family affected by the holocaust #the friend who sparked this post is also white and goyim #but his family is mostly from cuba and england #im bringing up stranger things is anti semitic and how netflix endorsed that airbnb in a holocaust cell fiasco #and hes bringing up how the directors and actors dont like the fact people are getting the tattoos on twitter #like both things are a problem bitch stop watching it #if your only watching stranger things season 2 at this point you must of not liked it that much in the first place #and can therefore stop #racism #he worries me and so dose another one of my closest irl friends #like... its not like im asking for what they are currently into and bombarding them with info #if they bring it up and i know something gross about the show and/or its creators im gonna bring it up #its my responcibility as an activist and as an enjoyer of fandom/media to not like gross people get by
