i keep trying to throw Colin into another Percy ship for a polyship but everything ive written so far just keeps feeling

very age play

very "little now has two caretakers" vibes

which is not intentional for this so I keep having to try again

#percy weasley #colin creevey #perclin #me projecting all of my adhd-ness onto Collin and forgetting that adhd can come across as very childish until i read it back to myself #I have three separate drafts now with different Poly ships including Percy and Colin and all 3 of them feel like this! #like i actually like age play at times like i find the concept fun #but every time i notice it i just sigh and shake my head like a tired parent because that's not what I'm going for #Tw: age play #this was an old old post hiding in my drafts but #i need to try this concept again i still want to do a Perciverlin fic ill have to look at that old draft i did for it #but from what i remember of it they were the worst offender of this so we will see if i can find out how to make it work
