"It seems to me that Ravenswood uses them for his own purposes," Randall sighed. "The jackalope alone has a...a, uh...what's it called when everything you touch turns to gold?"

"A Midas touch?" Dorian answered, eyes widening at this as Randall snapped his fingers, replying, "Yes, that's it, thank you! Yes, a Midas touch-so that's of great interest to Ravenswood, I'm sure, not to mention the others' abilities. They've got another sibling, a sister, who betrayed them and sided with the old bag of bones, unfortunately."

"Hmmm..." the young master nodded, closing his eyes, deep in thought at all of this, as Randall finished, "They're all just looking for a place to call home. Somewhere where their powers won't be used by someone as cruel as Ravenswood. They're not malicious, just...frightened."
