ROOMMATE AU!

plot summary:

So me and @connorconsumestrousers have this au that's based when the adults in the show are in their 20's [aka early 1970's late 1960's]

It's where Clay and Revs are roommates and share an apartment [the initial idea that made this an au], Clay doesn't end up marrying Bloberta, since he doesn't go to church that day and doesn't get wrapped up in the service for Millie's wedding [which is not what she ends up doing].

Also because he sits in the back/middle row, and Bloberta sits in the front with her family/or Millie.

It's basically the same world but explored through younger versions of the characters and some different things happen and some things don't happen at all ✨
