I also just downloaded tinder again and my little trick is everyday I switch my profile between "show me to people who want to see men" and "show me to people who want to see women"

that's a pretty good hack, but it still feels like switching between two equally bad choices, you know? if i pick "show me to people who want to see men", i'll get shown to a lot of straight women who will go Ew What's This, and if i select "show me to people who want to see women", i'm effectively invalidating my own gender identity. i've currently got it set it to the latter, but it really does feel like i'm being forced to subscribe to the "nonbinary is just Woman Lite" philosophy.
