𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐋 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐑. not having it, in whatever capacity, felt intimidating. this, espescially that was entirely new territory for the princess. having never slept with a man, because of her own reasons & not having interest in someone enough to try, irulan didn't like that she didn't know exactly what to expect nor do. of course, however, she knew the basic concept & what it can result in--it wasn't uncommon, before, for those in the bene gesserit to be sent off, test a prospect, & to secure his bloodline. it was more of an assignment, no emotion needed, but this was different. paul was different toward her & he had been for some time in a genuine effort to make an actual marriage out of their union. it was scary, irulan had to admit to herself, because she never expected this out of him. but, at the same time, it made her feel a twinge of hope that she's finally being given what was wanted.

paul had kissed her gently where the pair of them sat on the edge of her bed. irulan could feel her heart pounding in her chest, the flush of color she knew was on her skin because of how warm she felt. it was when paul moved his lips down, pressing them against her skin causing her to let out a breathy, wanting sigh, did irulan feel herself get more bashful that she would've allowed outside of these chambers. hands come up to cover her face, turning away. she feels hands wrap about her wrists, removing her hands, only for her face to be guided back into paul. eyes close again, hand instead reaching out to hold onto his shirt covered forearm. ❛ i- . . i like when you say those things. ❜ praise, it had always had a great effect on her. outside &, apparently, inside the bedroom.

𝙳𝙸𝚂𝙻𝙸𝙺𝙴𝙳   himself for giving in ?   irulan won’t kid herself && begin believing he’s slept with her for love. because it isn’t that. they can’t stand each other && yet they desire each other so passionately after a little taste.   )     ;      body is pinned to wall in a spare bedroom followed by the immediate press of lips against her own with so much hunger that you might assume paul had been deprived for longer than he might like !    his hands make quick work of her dress, a slight, quieter, moan vibrated against her lips into his mouth. they part, eyes studying him at the question asked while chest raises up && down rapidly. irulan begins to wear a little smirk,    ❝  seems as if I’ve   𝖇𝖊𝖜𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖉  you. ❞   is her response,   ❝  tell me . .  ❞   a pause as she leans forward slightly to ghost against emperors lips.   ❝  what is it that makes you . . want me again after last time ?  hm ?  ❞   tone turns playfully teasing while own hand snakes up his shoulder && touches against the back of paul’s neck,  ❝  did you like being inside me that much or was it all the noises I made for you ?  ❞   or perhaps it was the notion of the should-be forbidden.

10.ㅤ| changes: ㅤhere are a few of the changes regarding my irulan as i follow her from the movies and what could be, knowing of a few changes they did to the books.

chani leaving at the end instead of bowing down leaves open for exploration of irulan and paul's relationship, as a political alliance and as a marriage. even odd parallels between leto and jessica.

irulan is trained by the bene gesserit, however, she is told she is weak due to her individuality and not following most of the rules that are set for her.

i believe irulan is fascinated by paul atreides, aware that his mother went against rules to birth a boy when only girls are in the order.

she is a writer and scribe and transcribe stories from one language to another and speaks plenty of them.

regardless of paul, irulan always knew she was meant to be empress.

plot: Irulan is getting used to her new normal. Set between Dune and Dune: Messiah. Spoilers for Dune: Part 2 and for the books if you’re unfamiliar with both.

As she again traversed these alien halls, Irulan once more found solace in the simple sight of a desk and chair. If nothing else she can continue her dictations. If nothing else she still had her histories. She only saw the Fremen woman briefly but that briefness was enough to glimpse the depth of feeling between her and Paul. With a sigh, Irulan lowered herself into the chair and began.

“It is well known now, amongst the Imperium, of the fall of House Corrino. I feel as though I cannot truly call myself Empress. That title, at least in spirit and heart, belongs to another. I am a figurehead, a…”

Whatever she was going to say, the creaking of a grand door delayed. She paused the device in her hand.

“Enter,” she bid, not without a bit of hesitation. “What is it?”

𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐔𝐋 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐁 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄. or so the princess thought, felt, more times than not. both of them seem to grow tired of their clashing heads, their stubborn wills, but no matter what happens irulan feels that argument cannot be avoided so easily. that is unless one or the other, in their exhaust for hurled back handed comments & subtle insults, concede for the sake of ending the conversation. never did she imagine her life would amount to this--yes, she'd been given an assignment of sorts from the reverend mother but that doesn't dimish the effects day to day has on her strong, but taxed, mental state. the game between them grows old, but a game played nonetheless to irulan's immense displeasure.

hands are quick to close her book, snapped shut with all the attitude & tension held about her shoulders. pushing heavy chair backward with movement. eyes bear into him for a moment making her displeasure known. ❛ that's precisely why i'm leaving. ❜ says empress, but empress only in name, as she rounds the otherside of the desk. ❛ i have no desire, nor the energy, to be glared at nor met with disdain today, paul. ❜ irulan walks past him, stopping at the door to almost mockingly bow her head. it's always been fake submission.

john constantine / constantine (2005) - bastard first, exorcist second. more or less doomed depending on how you look at it. vague with timeline. *brendan frye / brick (2005) - grimy noir detective in modern day and very sunny san clemente, california. generally set a few years post-movie at minimum where he's grown up and has not gotten better. *bruce wayne / the batman (2022), batman: unburied, several comics of my specific choice - the prince of gotham and the bat. generally played later in his life, in his thirties or forties, where he's figured it out but still has a plethora of psychological issues. chani / dune films + book inspo (2021 -) - you know, i love when we make chani into a real character. anyway arrakis is Her planet actually and she did turn away from that holy war. also, she has every right to be blowing up the spice harvesters actually. irulan corrino / dune films + book inspo (2021 -) - i'm still sort of spinning around everything with her but by god do i need her devious little brain. and her willpower on things. she's not a good bene gesserit but she is an excellent political figure.
