one thing you'll never catch me doing is hating on sophie for the way she acted towards oralie. this girl is quite literally the most patient character I've ever seen. it took her like, 8 books to finally snap for a GOOD reason. she had to live for years in the lost cities without knowing who's her biological parents and when she did find out? turns out the person was right infront of her face the whole time.

and now, it's not like she can go around telling people that oralie is her mother because oralie is a councillor and with this news hitting the council and the elven world, it'll cause mayhem- mayhem that's perfect for the neverseen to just swoop in and take everything. oralie's reputation will be ruined. sophie HAS to stay unmatchable for the rest of her life and forkle has the AUDACITY to tell her to wait for a few more hundred years.

there's just something about fitz vacker, a boy who was once considered perfect and the ideal boy for both girls and boys to finally snap and attempt to murder his brother. his brother who he has looked up to his whole life, his brother who betrayed him and the people he loves.

can you imagine realizing that your own brother participating in harming and torturing your friends and the girl you love? and then, your parents decided to give the traitor another chance simply because he lost his memory, as if that erased everything he's done. and if THAT wasn't enough, you were forced to go along with it.

alvar should've died. the scene where fitz stopped pressing buttons was a huge character development for him and I'm tired of people dissing it purely because of the love triangle.

fitz has done some pretty questionable things but he deserves to be angry. maybe don't direct the anger at his friends but he deserves to have a mental breakdown and scream and cry just as much as keefe.

I absolutely hate how sophie and prentice's first meeting once he's fully healed was...not special at ALL. they really just met up in stellarlune as if they're someone that meet each other every day. no acknowledging each other, no asking how are yous, absolutely nothing.

prentice literally lost his sanity and got exiled all for sophie's sake. I understand that due to his mind shattering, he'd already lost the whole swan song thing and jolie. plus knowing that cyrah's dead does not help things at all but still, I wanted sophie and prentice to at least have a proper interaction and you know...just checking up on each other without a whole audience staring at them. sophie literally healed his mind in nightfall and after that, there just...wasn't any conversation between them?
