So, as it's NewTina midbirthday, and just one year since I published my first ever text on AO3, I finally decided to post the first text of the "A Blue Woolen's ocean" series.
The series won't be about NewTina (maybe a bit and -a lot- later) but about Newt's childhood, the house and its unhabitants (and a lot of creatures).
The first paragraphs below :

Ireland – Summer 1928
His memories knocked against each other inside his head, like a flock of Golden Snidgets someone had tried to imprison in a too small crate, without enough space to move freely. It had been a very long time since he had last come here. It had been so many years. He wanted to show her everything, to share everything, with her.
Their hands linked (just as inseparable as the wisteria and the wall), they moved forward, stopping with almost every step, as Newt shared with her various and colorful anecdotes. He had grown up here. This modest place probably meant more to him than the Scamander Estate in England.

The hill, topped by some luxuriant greenery, overlooked the North Atlantic Ocean, cliffs falling sheer towards dark and unchained waters, waves smashing in a thundering din, almost stunning. The mix between turquin blue and emerald green contrasted with the gray sky and the peat pathways, all Irish colors engulfing them in a reassuring cocoon.
Home. This place was home for him. Ireland was home for Newt. Tina could say that, just feeling the contact of his hand, just hearing the rhythm and the depth of his breath, just seeing the ephemeral wrinkles at the corner of his eyes and the dimple in his cheek  as he saw, or said, something. It was her first time here, and she felt grateful. She felt honored to have the right, the opportunity, to be there, with him. For him. It felt priceless, as if she had a window to catch sight of who her lover had been, before, a long time ago.
