18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year?

It’s always FCG. But I think I finally cracked the code: it’s 50% therapyspeak in the style of an Instagram self-help graphic and 50% “what would Sam say in this moment to annoy Laura?”

27. What do you listen to while writing?

Silence! I can’t do anything with words if there are words playing in the background. If there’s background noise to cover up I’ll usually put on the Mighty Vibes Vol. 2 lo-fi track.
