i think the thing i struggle with the most in my writing is that i’m an incredibly formulaic person in reality but I love writing that feels spontaneous. I often feel like I am trapped in a pattern of writing and struggle to both express the idea behind what I am writing and the act of writing itself as its own form of expression.

#i think that is whats been the most difficult thing about this exchange fic - and why im having such trouble writing recently #all of my writing feels like it falls into the exact same pattern but i keep putting myself into the same position #because of the way that plots form in my head and scenes construct themselves #are all very structurally similar to each other - and the way that dialogue and scenes play out and come to conclusions #all seem very similar right now and its something im realyl struggling as i continue to hone my writing #that ive found a strategy and style of writing that works well and that i realyl think is quite good - but that i feel im using too often #and so is becoming so formulaic and almost monotonous to write adn i feel like it would be #not boring but unsurprising and less organic to read yknow #anywho milo struggles to write lmaooooo #personal post
