1. What’s your favourite song from SKAM? Fy Faen by Hakeem & Temur; I just loved the beat and the rhythm and it was good to stim to haha

2. What’s your absolute favourite clip from SKAM? oooooh I’m not sure! I watched most of Skam in episodes because I didn’t start until like the end of s3 haha I think they very last clip is probably my favourite it absolutely shattered my heart but it was such a beautiful ending

3. What’s your absolute favourite episode? ooooooh I’m not sure omg it’s been a loooong time since I’ve watched the original and I can’t actually remember where one episode ended and another began haha but probably early to mid s3 where you could see Isak start to realise that he can’t hide being gay forever because there are things worth coming out for

4. Which character do you wish we would have gotten to know better? hmmm maybe Eskild? how did he become the person who takes others in during hard times? was anyone ever there for him? what was his coming out like? will he ever find his own true love???

5. What’s your least favourite season - and why? s2 for me felt very tainted by N******m and how degraded Noora was in a lot of moments with W*****m, and s4 felt more like a final season trying to tie up loose ends (which it didn’t even do that well in some cases) rather than a Sana season so it could have been a lot more powerful than it was.

6. Which storyline would you change if you could? daaaamn, maybe the instagram drama in s4?

7. Isak - with or without the snapback? ;) depends on the moment! ;)

8. Who should’ve been the main of s5 if that had happened? either Even or Vilde, I think. Even for the main mental illness storyline and ways to cope with it to keep it manageable. Vilde for the ED storyline, perhaps an exploration of her sexuality, and mostly for the difficulty of being a carer for your parent which a lot of young people are.

9. Favourite pairing in SKAM? I mean…you’ve seen my blog right? clearly Evak haha

11. Which scenes made you cry? I remember absolutely bawling my eyes out at the very final clip, for obvious reasons, and I think I cried when Sana admitted she had posted those pictures on instagram and everything went to shit that was tough to watch

1. Do you have a favourite quote from SKAM? possibly “life is now”? I’ve always struggled with envisioning the future and stuff like that

2. What was the reason for you to start watching SKAM? I saw a lot of gifs of Evak being soft and I was watching Eyewitness at the time where everythign was painful and difficult and I was like damn it would really be nice to see some young queer love that doesn’t involve so much suffering

3. Least favorite clip and why? where Noora got thrown onto the floor by W*****m when she chased after him. degrading as fuck.

4. Do you have a particular scene that always makes you laugh? hmmmmm, I don’t think so? I don’t remember laughing a lot during Skam?

5. What do you like most about Isak? that you could see how much lighter he was after he came out and came to terms with himself as he really was. I relate to that a lot. other than that probably his snark haha

6. What’s your favorite Even moment? I don’t know if we got enough Even content to really have a favourite omg but maybe his birthday video for Isak because it was just so wholesome

7. What’s the episode you could watch every day if you could? this is too difficult!! it’s been too long since I’ve watched episodes!!

9. Has SKAM inspired you to write a fan fic and/or make art for it? oh yes many many fics haha

10. Do you have a particular headcanon that differs from canon? I don’t think so!

11. Evak - what do you think happened to their relationship post season 4? they grew up together; they’ve both grown as individuals and it’s done nothing but strengthen their dynamic as a couple. they’re both in uni studying what they love and trying to maintain the work/life balance haha

Oh Kevin baby. We’ve finally gotten to the one Kevin scene I was properly spoiled for and boy is it a doozy. Ben knocks Kevin around until he times out and Kevin gets upset with him. As far as he was concerned he was just playing, having fun, and Ben, still Four Arms, calls him out, says it wasn’t fun for him. He demands answers for why Kevin’s been following him, demands he basically get his own life. Kevin doesn’t answer his question, just calls him a baby and tells him to run off back to his grandfather, and Ben-

“At least I have someone to run back to-!” Note, I’ve seen people give Ben shit over this, but I’ll allow it if just because the second it comes out his mouth he realizes he crossed a line and tries to backpedal. He’s not a bad kid, he just, well, kids are stupid and he’s worked up. And Kevin, the look on his face, like he’s pissed and upset at the same time. And when he responds there’s baring of teeth, but also he’s very clearly really upset. Ben struck a serious nerve there with him, for one reason or another.

“So, that’s how it is.” This line has stuck with me since I first saw this scene, how it’s said, and now with the context- I said before, when talking about Kevin’s bullying behavior and what might be behind it, that Kevin might not target Ben specifically for any reason at all, and I think now is when I should clarify that. I don’t think Kevin’s targeting Ben was personal. Because this moment right here, that’s a ‘now it’s personal’ moment. Whatever reason Kevin targeted him, it’s not because Kevin had a problem with him specifically. But right here, right now, in Kevin’s mind Ben has escalated things. And so he dials up something “original”, just for him.

And through all that, Ben’s still trying to apologize.

Half of this episode has been Ben calling Kevin and his shit cool.

“Kevin, you’re out of control” Yes, yes he is, this is one pissed and hurt puppy. One who, when he responds with “Who cares” does it loudly enough that Ben’s blown back, the ground beneath his feet craters, and some concrete supports start cracking.

And Kevin punches through the fucking roof, escaping that way and leaving Ben in the collapsing whatever.

Forever Nerd showing up while Kev recovers from the day, criticizing his lack of control (which is bullshit, his control so far has been fine, Bashmouth was a mess and he’s got emotional issues, but Rath started out a mess too and he got a hang of shit fine in the end) and insisting that it doesn’t matter how much stronger he is if he can’t control himself. Offers to help. And Kevin reluctantly agrees. Honestly it almost feels like this ep would’ve worked better before Franken-Fight. Was scheduled wrong on both sides of the globe. It fills that void between it and KotC well.
