#it’s the tipping point in the story. #where it all tips over. #this season everyone has grown closer to each other and has gone through love grief and loss #extreme emotions that family makes you feel. #and guillermo needed to leave! because everything WOULD stay the same. it IS staying the same. #and that’s the whole wow these guys are depressed as fuck when it comes to the vamps #nothing changes for them. as much as they want - it’s fleeting. they’re immortal. they outlast and outlive everything else. #it’s depressing. they try and fill that void #nandor w finding a partner/the genie #nadja and the guide with the club #laszlo with baby colin robinson #they had an objective. that had a motive for their eternal lives this season #and it was all ripped away. BECAUSE of what immortality has costed them. what being a vampire has costed them #they’re back to way things were. as if nothing has even happened. and they’re mourning #and guillermo coming back as a vamp (?) is going to stir things up and throw everyone in for a loop #and i think it’s just such an insanely relatable theme for humans despite our mortality that it genuinely struck deep in the audience #wwdits
