I hope it’s okay and not weird to suddenly drop in to say this (and if so, feel free to ignore haha), but I just had the idea and needed to get it out of my system ^^ I think Kai could get along really well with Miho and Naoya!!! Not that he wouldn’t get along with your other OCs, he does love making friends, but those were the ones I noticed had more interests and motivations in common with him!

I think Miho and Kai could bond over music, and since Miho is cautious while Kai is loud and impulsive, maybe they could balance each other out? Though Kai is pretty overwhelming and would probably make Miho nervous… but he’d very very supportive of her performances, at least! Plus, he’d be very understanding of her panicking over small things, because he tends to do that sometimes too, haha. Maybe he could help her with her overthinking?

As for Naoya, Kai is someone who’s willing to try a bit of everything at least once, so I could imagine them just hopping around looking for something to do and getting into all sorts of shenanigans together! Just guys being dudes. They’re both eager to make friends, they’re both cheerful and unsure about their future, and it sounds like they have a similar attitude about mistakes having value because they help shape who you are, so I think they could hit it off pretty well!! I’d just be worried that, since they both have jealous streaks, there’s a chance they might enable each other and make each other worse, haha. But they could also help each other work through it! And maybe give each other reassurances when their abandonment issues rear their ugly heads… :’)

Of course, Miho is your girl and Naoya is your boy, so I can’t speak for them, haha. What do you think? I just think it’d be very cute to see them interact :3

Please don't apologize for this, this is the first anyone has ever mentioned their ocs interacting with mine so you have no idea how happy this made me to read.

I could definitely see them being friends! I mean, Miho works as an idol so she is well accustomed to loud and impulsive personalities so I doubt he'd overwhelm her. But I can definitely see them working as a double team with him being her motivator and her being his impulse control. Plus I just had the thought of Kai really loudly cheering for her during one of her performances and almost being escorted out for being too loud. Meanwhile Miho's trying her best not to burst out laughing while singing. Although Kai would need to be careful not to mention Miho's favourite idol, otherwise he'd be stuck there for a week listening to Miho gush about how amazing she is.

Oh, and Kai and Naoya is a perfect friendship, I love it. As long as Kai doesn't make any moves on Shohei, they're great, just don't go stealing Naoya's bestie (Bestie, definitely bestie, nothing else, he swears, nope just the bestest of pals, no repressed feelings there whatsoever, not at all) But I could definitely see them trying out new things together, fucking up gloriously and then laughing about it and getting milkshakes afterwards. Plus Kai seems like the type who would join Naoya in his quest to spite Shohei's shitty parents. Although, I feel like they might have problems with Naoya's need to try and help everyone with their problems because after a while, he'd probably be like "Y'know maybe you should talk to your dad and try to fix your issues" and Kai's just...

Although someone else I could see Kai getting along with Hoshi, mostly just 'cause of his kooky sense of humour and inability to properly interact with people without accidentally creeping them out. I feel like Kai would vibe with that weird energy and would try to help Hoshi find a natural way to smile that doesn't make him look like a Halloween monster.

Sorry for rambling so much, I just haven't had this before and it made me really excited...

Do your OC groups meet at any point? I'm guessing as they're all persona OCs it happens in the same universe so would their paths ever cross? Which groups do you think would get on best? Love them all by the way I love the different personalities and designs :)

They do all happen in the same universe but I'm using the same approach as the Persona series, i.e each groups' adventures happen a few years apart.

So I do have some plans for some potential crossovers, although I'm still planning them out (meaning I go to make notes and then get distracted). There is one character that is unable to meet the others, due to certain circumstances.

But I do have plans for Nozomi to meet some later characters because I planned the end of her story having her going back into showbusiness but this time by her own terms and not taking anyone's bullshit. She's already the biggest inspiration for Miho to become an idol, but I think it would be great for Nozomi, Miho and Masato to meet while working and Nozomi just going full protective big sister mode and giving them lessons like "Don't let them walk all over you, if a director tries to make you do something you don't wanna do, call me, I'll sucker punch that bitch in the mouth" etc.

And this is getting a bit ahead of myself but, I feel like if I did make another group, I'd like to have a 22/23 year old Akinari as a social link for the new protag. Just kinda like him living his new, healthier lifestyle with his boyfriend after cutting himself off from his family but having some difficulties because his brother wants to get back in touch and he's not sure what the best option would be.

But this is a subject I've thought about a lot, so I would be interested in thinking more ways for the groups to interact with each other.

8 - How much jewelry do they wear, and do they have a favourite or distinguishing piece?

Miho likes jewelry but she doesn't wear too much of it at once because she thinks it can be a bit much. She mostly just sticks to chokers and rings and, since she doesn't have her ears pierced, those earring that you clip onto the side of your ear. Her favourite piece is a midnight blue choker with glow in the dark star patterns all over it.

12 - How do they show affection to someone they love?

It depends on who it is. If it's his friends and family, he cheers them on in everything they do and showers them in compliments plus, if he knows it will make them happy, he will give them presents. If it's a certain someone that he definitely doesn't has a crush on, he swears, that's ridiculous why would have a crush that doesn't make any sense shut up: Fumbling over his words and accidentally coming across as pretty clingy. Luckily or unluckily depending on how you look at it for him, his definitely-not-a-crush is dense as hell when it comes to emotions so it goes completely over their head.

16 - How has their childhood affected the way they view an aspect of their life (people, education, society, themselves, etc.)?

Well, Sora was disowned when they were 15 so thanks to that, they have an intense distrust towards adults and authority figures. Especially since their parents had always thought they were odd thanks to their personality but once they came out as genderfluid, that was it. Their teachers never helped either as they found Sora's personality difficult to deal with and often labelled them as a problem child. The only teacher that treated them with respect was their computer science teacher who Sora is still in touch with. And while they act like a chaotic gremlin, Sora is a lot more mature than most people are at their age, since they had to move into their school dorms and save up for a place they could move into once they finished school. That's why, despite appearances, Sora is the most reliable of their group and will always rush to help their younger teammates when they need it.

10 - What is a weird quality they have?

It's not so much a quality, but Miu has a surprising talent for ruining her shoes just by wearing them. She doesn't do any intense sports or anything, she just casually wears her shoes as she travels around her everyday life and manages to scuff them to the point that the sole is clinging on for dear life. No one can figure out how she does it and her parents are sick to death of constantly having to buy new shoes.

Character Biography: Miho is an up-and-coming idol who is quickly gaining attention for her music and dance performances. Despite having her career take off, Miho insisted that she still attend school so she could still have her qualifications if the idol gig fell through. Although easy to overwhelm and having a tendency to overthink and panic about trivial things, Miho has a good head on her shoulders and doesn't rush into decisions that she hasn't taken the time to think through. Miho is very good with young children and has considered being an elementary school teacher if her music career doesn't work out. She is pretty much the heart of the group with her and Akio bringing up the emotional side of their discussions while Hoshi and Hikari tend to be the more logical side with the others being varying points in-between the two sides. Miho's biggest inspiration in life is the idol Nozomi Shiraishi who left the idol scene as a teenager and returned as an adult with her own way of doing things and refusing to abandon her rules and way of living; Miho finds her strength of will and sheer talent incredible and hopes to be as confident and steadfast as her one day.
