This was a fun story to write, about work to save Florida reefs, and capturing the process on tape.. Given my own family history of oceanographic research at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass., it was really cool to talk underwater #photography with Peter Zuccarini, the director of underwater videography for the 'Avatar' sequels, and his use of a unique Canon camera to capture an extraordinary moment in University of Miami efforts to bring back a coral reef off Key Biscayne.
