As he walked, though, Hikari couldn't help but notice a figure skulking about in the dark; someone dressed in purple robes. But things were different around Goku, the only person Sanzo allowed himself to be vulnerable around, someone he trusted the most. So when his head fell to rest on Goku's shoulder, tired & aching from a particularly brutal fight, the gesture only felt natural.

Bangs covering his eyes, Sanzo breathed deeply & slowly, allowing his polluted nicotine-filled lungs to catch up with the rest of himself. It was only the two of them, & the forest was unnaturally quiet after their endeavors. What better way to wait for Hakkai & Gojyo than to rest?

"Not a word to the others about this." -- was mumbled threatened close to Goku's ear. "I just need to close my eyes."

Kyusaku giggles to themself, trotting down the path ahead of them with their eyes peeled for their target. A candy shop. They needed to restock the stash in their cell just incase this brief kindness turned back to malice. It's their first time out in months, and they are thankful to be allowed out again, even if they had to promise to break or play with people. Unless it was Dazai~

It had been so long since they felt the warmth of the sun on their skin. Everyone around them seemed so happy and cheerful as well. The outside was so nice!

With thoughts and observations feel them with envy that takes away their focus, so much so that they hardly notice the person they almost ran face-first into, if not for him stopping them from doing so.

"Sorry, sorry, Mister~ Hey hey~ Do you know where a candy shop is ~?" A smile as they look up.

What he hopes as he looks at that familiar face, is that he is ignored, not remembered, that five years had been long enough to hide who he had been. But he knew by now that winning was something he never did often and all he can do is face the music. So arms cross over his chest, green eyes watching the blond before him. The light of recognition in the older man’s verdant eyes. The sixth was still alive, so that must have been what gave him away. Even dying his hair couldn’t change his facial features. There was no mask to cover his face either. 

Eyes narrow. “What do you want? I know you aren’t stupid and have an uncanny ability of finding out who I am-” It’s agitating. It would have been smarter for the man to go to a knight or had he thought time had dulled him, that he was weak without Van to guide him? "And don't call me by the name the Commandant gave me, it's Vence for now."

"You're better off asking March or Dan Heng about it." He drops his hand before looking at the snow around them. If he was honest, he wished he could feel it a little bit. "You know, I'd never seen snow before coming here....I don't think so, at least." Oh, right, not everyone knew about his Amensia. He had ironically forgotten about that part.

Nanami never really accepts taking kids with him but with what he was hearing from Gojo it seem like the other wanted a new light of things. Nanami wasn't the type of person to work with Gojou so he could imagine how annoyed the other ends up being just following the other around.

It was a beautiful day out: the sun was shining, there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and a gentle breeze blew through the forest so as to keep the temperature from soring too much. Reticent as always, Dhaos does not say a single word to one of the humans who had taken his life. He stands there with his eyes closed as if he is simply enjoying the summer breeze. His heavy cape stirs at his feet and leaves from the forest floor dance around him in the wind.

Another moment passes, and his eyes finally open.

They lock onto Chester Burklight. Still, he says nothing.
