i hate how short dogs live in comparison to humans

#i miss my abner #ohhh what id give to smooch his big ol noggin just one more time #the memories thing in my photos app brought up a bunch of pictures from when we got him a little winter coat #and now im just sad #i miss him a lot. im very glad he lived as long as he did but i can't help but wish he had more time #what's that fuckin term people use to refer to like. essentially your soulmate in dog form. a dog that you form such a strong bond with - #- that you can't imagine bonding with any other dog the same way #that was abner for me. we were best buds through and through #he put so much trust in me and i put so much trust in him #we stuck together through thick and thin and i couldn't imagine having a better dog than him #HEART DOG. that's what it's called. he was my heart dog. or whatever tf it is #i loved that damn animal so much #and he loved me so much
