okay so I loved Witch King but. I gotta know. Why are people calling Kai "the witch king"? He's not a king. He's not a witch.

I assume this is Backstory Stuff that happens in the very long & significant gap between where the flashback sequences stop and the present day starts but 👀

#if i missed something and this was super obvious do tell #my current theories are 'most people don't understand what witches are' #'witch king' as in 'the king's witch' #'witch king' as in the guy who's in charge of witches? #people implying that he suborned/controlled Bashasa? #or maybe he took Bashasa's dead body at some point I guess we don't know he *didn't* do that #but I don't think it's likely they would both have been aware of the obvious political repercussions #witch king #meta #mine
