We worked with The Heartbreakers , his group with The Mc5’s #waynekramer in Gang War and Johnny solo. Johnny was such a great tragic artist who died way too young. Heroin ripped the life from so many talented artist. My fave Thunders show was a late one after we produced the 1st Jesus and Mary Chain show in Detroit, we had the wild red head of Creation #alanmcgee at Detroit’s Asylum. This album - feels like a bridge between The UK’s punk scene meets NYC’s Scene - and as only this former New York Doll could make this happen!
