Let’s talk about what’s in your intestines!! 😮Emerging evidence is showing a link between the gut microbiome and PCOS
✳️Studies have shown that an unhealthy gut microbiome can cause insulin resistance, hyperandrogenism, chronic inflammation, obesity, and diabetes, and may contribute to the development of PCOS. (Reference; Zhao, X; Geburtshilfe und Frauenheilkunde, 2020) ✳️It’s also been shown that people with PCOS tend to have less diversity in their gut bacteria, as well as fewer “good” bacteria. So it’s important to do everything you can to get a healthier gut microbiome. Many people associate a healthy gut microbiome with popping a probiotic. (More on probiotics in another post as taking a probiotic can be kind of like a crapshoot 💩🤣) 👉But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. There are so many other things that are even more important for a healthy gut microbiome. -See the graphic for ideas. -Eating adequate fiber is one of the most important things you can do 🥦🥑🍏 👀We’re taking a deep dive into the gut microbiome in my course, the PCOS Blueprint, this week (including new research on the gut & PCOS and which probiotic strains are best) Do you think about nutrition and lifestyle for gut health for your PCOS? Do any of the things “under the iceberg” surprise you👇 #pcodsolution #pcoddietplan #pcodweightloss #pcodchanges #pcodiet #pcodindia #pcodfood #pcodproblem #pcodawareness #pcodcure #pcodsymptoms #pcodhairloss #pcodawarenessmonth #pcodmanagement #pcoddietplanforweightloss #pcodtips #pcod_training #pcodsupport #pcodfighter #pcodacne #pcodnutrition #pcodfriendly #pcodwarrior #pcodkarnataka #pcodbangalore #pcodsipliments #pcosfoods #pcosfoodstoavoid #pcosfoodstoavoid #pcosfoodshare (at Ladies club) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVlAcQWv5fY/?utm_medium=tumblr
