obsessed with how david tennant does the pipe scene in hamlet... like yes this scene works best funny. horatio grinning in the corner. both of them playing the pipes together as hamlet plays the court with his madness. horatio as an actual friend instead of an aquaintance. the very real shock of anger toward r & j that is made more shocking by the humor. i'm obsessed. i can't get over how both rosencrantz and guildenstern are concerned n hamlet's just staring at them like "oh really." i can't get over him messing with polonious. and then. right after that. you have hamlet's fight with gertrude go from whiny child of divorce (yOu hAve mY fAtHer mUcH oFFendEd) to GUNSHOT SHATTERED MIRRORS COURTS SHATTERED IMAGE OF HAMLET DEAD POLONIUS and the JUXTAPOSITION OF HUMOR AND TRAGEDY AND RAGE AND FEAR IS JUST IMMACULATE.....
