Exploring cinematic concepts for my potterbyblvnk sketches. With the help of you guys, I decided to call this series “potterframes”.
I want to show you in details, colors and atmosphere, how I imagine the story of Harry Potter beyond my sketches. My goal is to create believable “movie” scene. I know we already have the movies, but there’s a lot we can explore, especially after growing up.
I might have a lot of fun designing the dark side of the story this time, with a bit of light for a contrast, of course.
Hope you enjoy.
As always, the only intention is to feed my imagination.

Hello Bianca, I'm so happy to see you back!! I feel like I'm sensing a slightly new style or technique in your new art after the break, like different brushes or coloring. Am I wrong? I'm afraid I don't understand much in art but I'm so obsessed with your work that I think I'm noticing something new <3
During my break I drew a lot more in a real paper with real pencil, so I decided to change the brushes if I was going to keep drawing my potterbyblvnk. I used the same brush in 2 or 3 sketches before but only now I'm having people noticing something new, so I'm not sure if it's just me trying to do something out of the routine or the brush.
I also renewed my tools - a new notebook and tablet. I'm using new tools after 5 years with the same ones.
Let's say I moved on from the tools I used to use and  upgraded my "office" table lol maybe that’s reflecting on my new sketches.

I absolutely LOVE your work!!!!! I have a question. Why do you mostly draw in black and white? Just quite curious!
The idea to draw in black and white is because it’s a series of drawings of the universe of Harry Potter. I usually like to paint with colors and other fandoms and original art, but those are not Potterbyblvnk. the first Harry I drew in this style is the same Harry I drew last time! It follows a single story, I try to be as consistent as possible in my headcanons though through 3 years I’ve changed their designs, or just upgraded them as I got a bit better.
Because it’s something I like to post everyday when I’m inspired, the time to draw in black and white is better! But I also do enjoy the balck and white aesthetic. At first it was to give Harry Potter a more sinister look but as I progressed with the story it mostly became comics and characters just having the most simple, random conversations. :)
