hi every1, went to chuckecheese today (another SPIN, another blog) and jasper has officially been cemented as my favourite character, but also... i was wondering why?

jasper is canonically an old-as-fuck man, and he's also white southern culture personified. he's the comic relief character too.

but he's also a dog

i guess im just posting this here because i feel a connection to the dog character by way of him just being a dog, being like me. i felt dazzled watching him on stage for a lot of reasons but one of them was just... wow! a dog, like me, up there, performing, having fun, and being loved :0) it made me realize how important it is to me to be represented by media not just for being queer/disabled/whatever, but also, being a dog!

it helps that his current puppet (below) is absolutely fucking adorable and makes me insane i want to squeeze him until he pops <3
