R.yoma Hoshi hunger headcanons

For the record, R.yoma doesn't go long amounts of time not eating anything.

He's depressed, but c'mon now.. he's not THAT depressed.

However, he doesn't always have the motivation to eat full meals, so more often that not, you'll see him snack on sumn like a granola bar or some chocolate.

That being said: there have been situations where he's unable to eat anything and as a result, the hunger pangs make him just a tad more blunt and sarcastic than usual.

Not to mention the noises that accompany said pangs.. they're awkward AND embarrassing. Lucky for him, the only real person who've heard his stomach growl before was K.irumi and she was pretty understanding, offering to make him some lunch to make up for the trouble his busy schedule must've put him through.

For being a pipsqueak, R.yoma's stomach can get LOUD if it goes unfed. I'm talking blow your eardrums out if you lay your head on it loud. It can get humiliating for the poor guy, but he's grateful that it rarely happens.

His belt makes for a great solution to temporarily silence his fussy tummy, just tighten it and voila! It can get uncomfortable, but what else can ya do.

R.yoma Hoshi stuffing headcanons

So, as this man used to play tennis, it's likely that he used to be on a pretty strict diet. Couple that with when he was in prison (and stuck eating crummy prison food), and there's a strong chance he hasn't had a decent meal in a while.

He doesn't like to make people bother with doing things like making meals for him, but he knows that it would be even more stupid if he declined and all that hard work for cooking was for nothing.

If these sorts of meals become frequent, then he's definitely gonna have a hard time making sure the belt on his leather jacket isn't on too tight (wouldn't want it cutting into his gut).

He has a canonical sweet tooth, so I imagine you could win him over with things like cakes or pastries much easier than with other meals.

Would DEFINITELY NOTICE the weight he's gaining if the third headcanon is true. He'd be embarrassed at first, letting himself go like that after being known as a athletic person, but he eventually grows into it like how his new weight will help make him grow into his new clothes. He's finally got a comfortable life now, he's still recovering, but he's making up for lost meals. It's a nice start!

His new soft belly would make it great for his pet cat to curl up on like a makeshift bed while he sleeps.
