It had been the perfect evening. A second date, one that had been so much fun and brought her so much joy that even she couldn't have predicted. Being around Eve was bringing out the best in her and it made her feel so happy and positive. As the two sat on the verandah at the end of the night, beers in hand, Dani was staring up at the stars above them with a soft smile on her lips. Only when she turned to face the other woman did she realise that there were a beautiful set of eyes solely on her, causing a flush to rise in her cheeks.

"I'm... gonna do something a little bold right now." she muttered, voice soft. "I'm just going with it, so, uh... Yeah." Dani stared for a few moments, eyes darting down to Eve's lips before back to meet her gaze. But then, she shut her eyes and slowly leaned in, breath shaky as she could practically hear her heartbeat in her ears... Their lips were just about to touch, barely a breath from one another, when the sound of Eve's phone ringing caused her to jump and pull away, brushing her hair behind her ear awkwardly.
