PW is one of her most regular customers. And because he comes in so often, Lilli gives him quite often a free drink or a discount. She also sometimes drinks with him together when he visits, and they just chat for that seems like hours

And because he is in her bar often... dare I say that he sometimes helps her beat up people who start to cause trouble? Dare I also say that he gathers his skull bro’s to teach people who mess with her a lesson?

Even in this verse Lilli really likes to bake stuff. Sometimes she comes to Po Town to visit PW and make him try some stuff... which ends up in the other skulls also want to try the cakes and other stuff she brings. At some point she just started to make a bit more so most of them can try her cakes, and other baked stuff

ALSO! Sometimes they have friendly sparrings. The first time they had one of these though she won because he went ‘easy on her’ and she pretty much overpowered him because she did not go easy on him

    Now PW ain’t one to be mistrustin usually, but the fellow infront of em ain’t…well the usual folk he knows if he’s bein honest. His face shifts from one of curiosity an caution to that of a small smile once Nanu is mentioned.

    “ Aye, known Nanu for a good while I have. Watch after his Meowths an the such. Who’s uh, who’s askin? ” ‘Friend’ he says…mayhaps he shouldn’t say much else…

Uh oh. That wasn’t a very friendly expression. Avery cleared their throat, walking forward with their hands just... casually out in the open and not fumbling about like some sort of possible creep or dude reaching for a hidden weapon. 

“Oh, me? I’m nothin’ special at all, ahaha... Just a visitor from out of town here on my vacation. I’m sure you get a lot of us tossers in a region as beautiful as Alola, heh... M’name’s Avery.” 

Avery tilted their head to the side like they sometimes did when recalling a fond memory. “I actually met Nanu in some kinda sushi restaurant... Can’t quite remember the name, exactly, but it’s apparently one he frequents quite often. He don’t seem the talkative type, but I struck up a conversation anyways, and now we seem to be on the track to bein’ fast friends.”

It was true enough, if not a bit deceptive. But they had a feeling this PW guy would dangle them by the short hairs off the nearest bridge if he heard the slightest insinuation that Avery was pursuing anything as serious as a relationship. Best to play it safe for now. They smiled warmly at PW, hoping he’d buy the explanation. “And what about you, huh? How’d you meet Nanu? He mentions you quite fondly sometimes. Actually thought he might be your dad or grandpa at one point.”
