From exactly one year ago… Scenes From My Walk - Drama In The Skies - A Raven Chases A Red-Tailed Hawk. This is the fourth raven/hawk chase through the skies I’ve witnessed. This was different because one raven was chasing a hawk and usually there are 2 ravens and a hawk. I’ve also seen ravens or hawks force one or the other from a perch. As I understand it these disputes are fairly common. Scenes From My Walk - Drama In The Skies - Two Ravens Chase A Red-Tailed Hawk. Left Photo: I managed this photo with the 2 ravens on top chasing the red-tailed hawk below. Top Right Photo: The Red-Tailed Hawk pulled out of the chase and landed on the pole to rest. Middle Right Photo: The Red-Tailed Hawk was chased off if it’s perch and it flew away and left the area. Bottom Right Photo: The Ravens Flew around and celebrated with some exuberant vocalizations. This is the third raven/hawk chase through the skies I’ve witnessed.
