#reading RHATO v2 now which seems better but I still don’t like the retcons

I finished reading RHATO v1 and RH/Arsenal. I might’ve enjoyed myself if it was my first book but as it is I was totally distracted and upset by the characterization and retcons. How do I get it out of my head?
