I don't know why i EVER quit Tumblr. This is where I belong.

#I feel so Seen #i felt performing the role of an Adult on male-dominated social media (twitter #& reddit) #would somehow make me a better and more respectable person #and i'm not quitting those forms of social media - i'm not above having several online personae for different environments #but Tumblr is a weird kind of home #obviously anonymity also plays into it #unfortunately we live in a world where i can't be honest about my thoughts re: femisism & gender politics #without putting employment & general social life in jeopardy #however much i want to talk about these things (and do in private face to face conversations with people i trust) #i'm not in a position where i can put myself in the way of online ire #but i DO still need a public online face beyond linkedin #so i larp a functional adult on twitter #reading through these tags WTF is femisism help #wheeze #flashing back to the first time a client at work told me they googled my name #i googled to see what they found out and my anime twitter was the first thing you'd see #so yeah i cleaned up my online presence
