reading old comics is such a gamble on if i need to literally kill the author barehanded or am pleasantly surprised when it doesnt suck

#twist rambles #for good examples of like... decent older comics the man.thing original run (iirc? i havent finished them) was better than expected. #for worse? too many to count but like. nicieza when i get u for what u did in new warriors!! to be honest. but its ok maybe the new thing i #reading wont suck <- comic fan mantra i think. surely everyone else feels this way
