... Pointed ears weren’t something he associated with a human shape. He knows he shouldn’t judge (after all, if it caught him off guard-- he’s sure there’s something about himself people will occasionally gawk at ). Regardless, he glances away as soon as he’s noticed. He smiles apologetically, he figured she must get that a lot. He takes fter a short moment, pushing away thoughts of stories relating to childhood folk lore he used to hear or read. He was still getting used to his new environment, so he figured he should steel himself for many... things that aren’t from his world.

“ Ah -- my apologies. ” he murmured, just audible enough to hear. He feels like he already made a bad impression.
