not to yet again admit to my life-long embarassing attachment to the harry potter movies but the reboot specially after so little time feels straight up disrespectful.

#shut up about it being closer to the books thats never gonna translate well pls make money somehow else #the hp movies are perfect actually ill die on this hill #rerelease them in theaters instead. that would be sexy #i DO like the books they were also a beloved part of my childhood obv but. the harry potter i was obsessed with was definitely the movies #i havent read the books since i was 12 or so but me and my parents and whoever we can convince watch the movies almost anually lol #they're a christmas hit idc #i feel like. seeing other 11 year old actors or a different hogwarths setting might actually give me an allergic reaction #which is incredibly ridiculous for an adult and yet #and yes the reboot era is terrible for many other reasons #but hollywoods war on creativity isn't anything new #necessary disclaimer this is not serious at all lol #it's not that deep i just love those silly little movies
