As day turns into night, Gaby strolls through the park and comes across a man playing chess by himself. After watching for a few minutes, she asks if she can join him.

He accepts and quickly resets the board.

Chatting with him is easy, even if the game itself is challenging, and Gaby soon learns his name is Stiles. He tells her that in addition to chess, he's a huge fan of music. He works in the industry as a Talent Scout. Stiles asks about her interests and Gaby tells him about her plans to grow a garden, once construction of her house is underway.

The hours fly by and in what feels like no time at all, Stiles tells her he's had fun, but it's time for him to turn in for the night.

GENERATION ONE: BASE GAME

Recommended Town: Sunset Valley or any town that only needs the Base Game.

Humble beginnings! The base game; the very beginning of the Sims 3 franchise. What better way to start out by experiencing the base game itself? Like you’ve never experienced it before!

Have your sim get a career of their choice (must be from the base game) ✔

Have your sim meet the love of their life either from work, or even a pedestrian

You CANNOT get married until you reach level four of your career

You CANNOT have kids until you reach level four of your career

Pick up a hobby and reach at least between level three to five (Gardening, Logic, etc.)

Have a boy and a girl (or as many as you want)

Complete aspiration and/or reach the top of your career

Notes:

Credit for the challenge goes to @dollybats . I'll also be following some of the old-school legacy rules found here with a few of my own twists added on. My plan is to try to satisfy all of the households' wants, no matter if I agree with their choices or not (i.e. cheating, repeatedly scaring the daylights out of others for absolutely no reason), so long as they don't interfere with dollybats rules.

The morning of Gaby's first day off is beautiful. She watches the sun rise on the gym's deck and contemplates her plans for the day. She has been meaning to check on her lot and take care of any mail that's been delivered. Plus, Beau told her there are a few places around town to collect fresh fruits and veggies. One spot even happens to be in the same gated community as her build site.

She's off as soon as she finishes her morning coffee.

As expected, there are a few old newspapers laying beside the mailbox and bin. Gaby's almost finished recycling them when the paperboy comes by....

After Beau heads upstairs for his pre-work workout, Gaby decides to use her time to study the cookbook she's borrowed from the library. Unfortunately, her morning coffee wears off just before she's supposed to leave for work. Another quick cup keeps her going, but she has a feeling she'll be dead on her feet later into her shift.

Gaby's boss, Molly French, has assigned her the task of washing dishes at home. Given that she currently doesn't have a home to wash those dishes in, the bathroom sink at the gym will have to do.

A little let down by her conversation with Leighton, Gaby heads to the park for some sunshine. She has a quick lunch from a picnic basket conveniently left unattended, visits the facilities, and takes a quick kip on a bench by the fishing pond.
