Somehow I stumbled upon an anime called "Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor". There's a character named Huey Rostam (or Huey Rostahm), but in the original story he was called Huey Lysen, apparently.
That's how his name is written in the show (according to Wikipedia):ヒューイ=ロスターム (ヒューイ=ルイセン in the novel).
His name and appearance remind me of a couple of JRPG characters from a certain "Squaresoft" game. Their names are Huey (ヒューイ) and Rostam (ロスタム), and they are frequently seen together. The game in question is "Rudra no Hihou".
I wonder if it is a coincidence...
Sadly, no official arts of either Rostam or Huey were published, so here's just a bunch of fanarts of them.
That's the only (for now) art I've seen, that depicts Huey as a blonde. Usually he's pictured having brown or red hair.
But there's still so much more in terms of fan works...

This is "Rudra No Hihou", a SNES RPG from 1996.
Well, it's not the game itself. It's the fanworks. There is a number of fans who did a couple of animation projects together.
Their work is mostly stationed on Nico Nico, but a couple of people are on YouTube, too.
I wish this game got more recognition. It seems like it wasn't even promoted properly during its release period.
