X-Wing. Ever since Wave VI or VII, the new minis FFG keeps cranking out have been of less and less interest to me; I don't need a Quadjumper that is in a few frames of The Force Awakens and never leaves the ground before getting blown up, never mind some Bounty Hunter ship some random dude just made up. But I did definitely want to pick up Sabine's TIE with her colorful paint scheme. And since I did like the prequels, I was also happy to add one ARC-170 to my collection. Both were fun to play; Shara Bey in her ARC-170 played a crucial role as an EW/support ship that packs a bit of punch. --- Star Wars Rebels never really won me over, and I was ready to dump it from my TV rotation after Season 2. Then I heard that Season 3 was going to be its last, so I figured what the hell, I'll see it out. It's been better, but still not great. But I guess the ratings picked up a bit after bringing back a couple characters from the well-liked Clone Wars so they've announced a Season 4, which will be the last one, for reals this time. One of the reasons I was sold on Rebels initially was that they had these two women in the cast (Sabine and Hera) who seemed really great, especially Sabine. So it's been sad for me to see the two guys, Kainan and Ezra - who are rather generic - hog all the screen time while the interesting female characters are consistently marginalized and under-written. To heap insult upon injury, Sabine and Ashoka - the Star Wars Universe's best two female characters IMO (and that includes Rey and Jyn) - have both left the show as regulars. Which leaves us with just the bland Kainan and Ezra and the underwritten Hera, plus the comic relief.
