as someone who is really involved (grew up) in pacific island cultures- Samoan Hunk I live for.

In Samoa it’s considered disrespect/bad luck/dishonorable for women to do anythin related to cooking. Making an Umu, Emu, husking a coconut, gutting a pig- AND HES A COOK. The male role in Samoa. It’s tradition. And I literally love how they included him being a cook.

yes!!! honestly considering bold’s blatant like lack of care towards hunk in general i doubt that they did this on purpose, but it’s AMAZING that it worked out this way. i love hunk. he deserves everything and he is literally so cool
