Do you guys think the first time Nagi leans his head on Reo’s shoulder after they make up, Reo feels his heart is gonna beat out of his chest? It’s nothing they haven’t done before, but… it’s been so long. Reo know understands Nagi better, but he can’t help feeling like he’s walking on eggshells around him. His heart is full of bright joy for having his treasure back, but there’s also shame for how badly he reacted - how he pushed Nagi away both times he tried to approach him - and… some lingering fear that this is just temporary. So when Nagi wraps his arms around Reo’s waist from behind and rests his chin on his shoulder, Reo forgets how to breath for a second.

His heart will remain hesitant for a long time, though.
