I just had a prediction.

Aimsey and Guqqie's investigation will eventually end with someone (maybe the last pirate left) finally discovering that they were lovers after a long period of debate and denial.

If the discovery happens in a person's final moments, there will be one line. Something like "oh. they were in love."

(this might also tie in to Owen's comment in his intro where he mentioned that the trope "history hates lovers" applies to this world of pirates as well. Maybe if Owen's the one to figure this out (as a Heron no less) he will relate their story to his backstory)

Also I should probably say that I am now rooting for Olivesleepy. I barely followed Rats and I knew nothing about Olive before this but now I want them to be the one to avenge. Even if they die trying, I will be satisfied.
