RAW lateblog, all in one place so i don’t post like 4500 posts lol aka: in which i’m too tired to use capital letters consistently and overuse question marks while i ramble about how i prefer NXT without specifically mentioning NXT :) sorry

since i only caught bits and pieces of last week, that was a really nice ‘here’s what you missed on RAW!’ moment to catch me up. (and nice to finally see Rollins embracing the crossfit jesus thing in a more overtly heel-y).

i wish we could get at least one Murphy/Black match a week. they’re SO good. and the little moments where they end up sitting crosslegged across from each other is *chef’s kiss* in a perfect world it would have been tonight’s main event but i digress.

i actually groaned ‘not again’ when Natalya’s music hit.. it feels like we’ve seen this match w/Charlotte at least 50 times. they’re great, but can’t we get something new???

this 24/7 champ stuff is great, don’t get me wrong, but having them run out during the only women’s match of the night is uh… so dumb if they’re not gonna have one of the women try to take the belt for themselves in the end. it would have been something DIFFERENT for once too..

i’m not even gonna comment on Ryder and Hawkins because it’ll make me mad again to mention how i think they (and Drew) all deserve better than that. *cough*same goes for Rowan*coughs*

LMAO THAT FAKE OUT. i was suspicious the second he needed help into the ring. but the commentators overselling it didn’t help (was that mostly Lawler?? can i just blame this on mostly Lawler??). Randy sold it really well for a bit tho with the speech bit. the people watching it with me don’t usually watch wrestling and they were convinced that it was his retirement announcement until he rocked forward while standing on what was supposed to be his bad knee and my best friend’s wife went “oh fuck off, he’s faking” lol. AJ shoulda known better tho.. you never turn your back on RKO.

i can’t believe i’m gonna say this but i prefer the Lana stuff to whatever is going on with the US title and that’s… frustrating af cos i can’t stand the Lana/Bobby shit.. and isn’t helped by the fact that i have a feeling that the only good thing about the wedding is gonna be Rusev breaking shit up.

if someone doesn’t come outta that fucking giant cake i’m gonna RIOT. what’s the point of giant cakes if no one comes out or goes into it????

wtf was with all of those pointless ‘twists’??? all that hype for Liv and then???? that???? this entire storyline is.. fucks sake i’ve seen soap storylines written better. i could name 10 better tbh.

lmao told ya Rusev popping up was gonna be the best thing about that whole segment. that all went on for too long... 0/10 would rather listen to Joey Styles scream oh my god in my ear for 15 minutes straight than watch whatever that was again. move. on. pls. wwe.

there were a few bright spots (Rollins/Owens/JOEJOEJOEJOEJOE, Street Profits, Murphy/Black, Rowan), but i’m struggling to watch week after week with this Lana stuff still going on. without it, it could’ve otherwise been a ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ fine episode.
