I don't think the Mileena situation and the fatherhood thing are comparable tbh. Because Mileena is, technically, Kitana's sister. Same DNA and all.

The fatherhood thing completely alters the base of not one but three characters. It's too stupid and radical even by MK1 standards.

Not saying it's not gonna happen though.

They're comparable to me in the "how does time travel change this" way. As I've noted, I'm just really not a big fan of using time travel to change things in a story. Which is a me problem.

I just can't get past the "if they have different parents, how is this the same character" question. How can Mileena and Kitana both be Sindel's daughters if Mileena was created as a clone of Kitana by Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn? Similarly, how could Hanzo's sons be Kuai Liang and Bi-han?

I don't really believe the fatherhood thing, but I will say that it suits the logic they're going with for how changing the timeline works. Which is to say there ISN'T a fucking logic

I just wish they would stop with in universe reboots. They don't fucking MAKE SENSE
