I just learned about the Reylo fanfic author who renamed all the characters in her fanfic and published it as a book and it became a NY Times bestseller and it has a movie deal now (a lá Twilight fanfic becoming Fifty Shades), and I’m gonna need the HanLeia fic writers to explain to me why they haven’t had that level of hustle

#maybe…because…hanleia fans actually like Star Wars and HanLeia fics are inseparable from the Star Wars universe OOP did i say that out loud #most reylo fans are really just romance fans so the Star Wars backdrop doesn’t really matter to them. feel free to prove me wrong #but that’s why half the reylo stuff is pride and prejudice aus. fantasy aus. modern aus. more than other ships really #srsly tho maybe the HanLeia girlies need to start grifting like this #get that bread gorls. #say what you want about the reylos but they manifested reylo in canon. the delulu worked #maybe the rest of us just aren’t trying hard enough to achieve our dreams #i wish you all the unhinged ambition of a reylo for your day’s endeavors today
