Cassia was taught from a very young age to hate herself and everything different about her. That she was wrong, a monster, and that she would only bring death and pain in her wake. Something she still believes to this day, it’s not something you just simply decide to stop believing when everyone you’ve ever loved died as a result of something you couldn’t stop. She has failed to protect everyone, and that, in her mind, just proves her father right in that regard. She has a lot of self loathing and self hatred.
But she is not her father. And she refuses to be associated with him. she doesn’t believe in his work either. She’s pro a lot of things that she was ‘made’ with the intention of eradicating and being used against. And while she’s not a people person, while the very thought terrifies her, she has no problem standing up and being in the way when it counts.
She’s a selfless person with an extremely altruistic nature. She sees nothing wrong in hurting in the place of others. Especially those more deserving of living and of being pain free. That isn’t limited to people she knows either. She would put her life in danger for a perfect stranger without even thinking twice about it. The nature to protect others, is very prominent in her. No matter how much she tries to play it off or act like its the same as anyone else would do.
She cares about people, and while she can’t really say it, she can definitely show it and she does in both subtle and not subtle ways. She doesn’t let anyone she cares about not know it, whether that’s through touch, looks, concern, or just constantly checking on them. Or even just using a softer voice with them, or listening to them more than she would a normal person. She’ll never walk away from anyone she loves. And make no mistake she does know what love is. And she is one of the people who loves deeply and without remorse over it. Both platonic and romantic. She rarely makes the distinction because to her they are both equally as important to her. One isn’t less than the other.
Part of her resistance to let the words be out there, to really throw her cards on the table, to even consider a relationship or lasting friendships, or anything else of permanence, is that she has a huge fear of abandonment. of being left again, of not being enough. She’s suffered so many losses, so many setbacks, messed up so many things, and hurt people, that she doesn’t think she ever can be good enough for any of that. Never mind deserve it.
She’s been broken and remade in the name of one man’s mad vengeance quest, and then broken again through even more tragedy and loss. But she clawed herself back up and rebuilt herself. She’s made of iron and steel. That’s the one thing people forget when they set out to break someone. To strip them down to nothing for their own purpose. They forget that the person knows what it’s like to be at rock bottom. To have nothing, they know what it’s like to go through the worst in life, and survive. And that’s cassia at her core. She’s a survivor. She will walk through hell and come out of the other side. No matter what you throw at her, no matter what you do to her, she’ll survive, she’ll push herself back up from the ground. Because she’s endured worse and survived. So she knows she can. And god help anyone who pushes her to that extreme.
She’s not hard to get along with or speak to, she’s a good person at her core, and as much as social situations make her uncomfortable, she won’t be rude about it, unless the other person is too. She tries her best, even though she's awkward and that’s all she can do. But if people start unnecessary drama, she’s out, she’s gone, she will climb out the window and down the drain pipe if she has to. That sets her anxiety right off and she doesn’t know how to deal with that. And she doesn’t think she should have to anyway. She has social anxiety, so she’s not the best at making friends. But she does try to keep the friends she has. Even if she can’t really handle a lot of attention.
Cass has a penchant for trouble. She has a sarcastic sense of humour which doesn’t help and she will make jokes to ease situations, or just because she thinks it’s funny. Even if it might not be the best time or place. Her mischievous nature probably doesn’t win her any points either. Another thing that probably doesn’t win her any favours with some people is that she won’t hesitate to call someone out on their bullshit.
She finds it almost impossible to trust people. It would probably be easier to win the lottery than it would be to earn her undoubting trust. She’ll always have that thought in the back of her mind that it’s a trick, that she’s going to end up betrayed all over again. Though she’s not intentionally cruel, she’s actually quite shy. But after her father all but tortured her, she finds it hard to accept kindness, her lashing out with words, and sometimes physically is just her way of trying to protect herself. It’s an unhealthy way to think but she knows no different
Though while she’s bad with trusting people, she does build up affection for people in her life and she’s naturally softer with them both emotionally and humour wise, without noticing. Her loyalty can be earned, if you can put up with her. And to those people she’s extremely protective of. There isn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for them. Legal and very much illegal wise. She would legitimately die for those she cared for. And while she can’t trust other people, she does help people if she can. Whether that be with giving them a roof over their head for a few nights or hurting someone who has hurt them. She’s a giving person deep down. and she knows what it’s like to suffer, and she doesn’t want anyone else to have to.
She doesn’t really advertise she’s a hacker to unknown people. She has circles she travels in that get her steady business, and if she feels like it she can hack into a huge business and siphon off some cash without them ever being able to trace it back to her. Though she’s only done that twice before, and neither was for her own benefit. It was for the benefit of people who needed and deserved much more than money from the companies that had fucked them over.
She was always a bit of a computer genius and hacks into anything no real questions asked, for money. It’s not her dream job, but it lets her feel like she has control. Control that she’d been missing all her life. and that’s a huge thing for her, to have control for once, It’s why she can freak out if she loses control of a situation. She never learned that not being in control isn’t always a bad thing.
Nobody’s perfect and i can see people not liking her at all. She’s insubordinate, reckless, impulsive, sarcastic. All that fun stuff that makes her not the most easiest person in the world to like. She might be a pacifist to some degree, in the regard that she doesn’t want to hurt or kill anyone, and she probably couldn’t take any more blood on her hands, but if she has to step on a few toes, or break the law. It’s worth it to her to protect those she loves.
Cassia never attended any sort of school or college, she never had a mainstream education. Though she was taught the basics in the program she was confined to. But there was something about that, that, when she was able to, she taught herself more than she needed to know. It was like she was trying to make up for things she had lost by proving to herself that she could hide scars and faults and damage under intelligence. And she is intelligent, she has a big iq, and she studies things for fun, even to this day.
People could say that Cassia has a high pain tolerance, but, with her, it’s not that she doesn’t feel pain, or cry out after a point. It’s that she’s just used to pain and torture. And as a recovering addict, she knows she can't take any sort of pain relief anyway, so she just got even more used to pain.
It’s true that she’d most likely have more of a reaction to emotional pain than physical pain, something that she was trained to be used to. She could get injured and not even notice she was bleeding. Because it’s something she was so used to that it doesn’t even register in her mind to check on herself. It just happens. She’s also stitched herself up more than once.
Cassia has trouble with doing nothing. She can’t really stay still, she always has to be doing something, Always has to be on top of things and stimulating her brain. She gets restless super easy and part of it is that she’s not good at thinking things through. She acts on impulse. She doesn’t wait she leaps into things head first with no safety net. Which is both a blessing and a curse. She’s always been impulsive.
She has a heavy heart, and she feels things intensely, especially negative things like guilt and remorse. She will forever carry the guilt of things she’s done and caused, of the people she couldn’t save. she’s hard on herself and she doesn’t let herself forgive herself. She doesn’t seek out forgiveness either. Doesn’t think she deserves it or ever will.
She’s the type of person to face her fears head on when challenged with them. Deep down she knows the only way to overcome something is to stand and face it. She spent years running from her problems, from everything she fears and it only ends in disaster. People get hurt, she gets hurt. But sometimes she forgets that she’s just a human being, that she can hurt and feel and fail. That she can feel fear and have things she’s scared of losing. Just like she has things she’s scared of.
Her own emotions are often strangled and pushed to the back burner, in aid of helping someone else, or in aid of not feeling them and their effects. She hasn’t cried in several years for example. And she knows she struggles with putting herself first, with dealing with her own emotions. But she’s a master at compartmentalising and acting like nothing is ever wrong or gets to her
On the fear front, Cassia is a nervous flyer, she hates being in small, cramped spaces. She loathes elevators, refuses to even get in them. It’s a fear dating back to where she lived most of her life in confinement. Forcing her into a situation like that is a guaranteed breaking point. She also has a fear of birds.

Henry, known as Hal to friends and family members, had always been a determined sort of person. Limits and boundaries were not something that stopped him. If there was a limit, odds were Hal would find some way to defy it.
This mindset was something that served him well throughout life. That, and the fact that Hal genuinely believed himself to be a prodigy. He'd grown up in a household of doctors, and had always known that that would be his path in life. There was no question about it. The Stafford name held weight in the medical world, and Henry would simply have to continue that.
Medical school caused Henry to question the things he'd believed about himself -- that he was special, that he was a prodigy, that he was born for this -- but as always, he made it through.
Through it all, by his side, stood Yazmin. They'd met through a mutual friend, and Henry found himself dazzled by her. The magic didn't last for long, though. Amid the life questions that came with medical school came other things -- a new personality (an air of superiority that masked insecurities), and the affairs.
It was the death of their relationship, of course. Henry was no longer the person that Yaz had fallen for, no longer a person even he recognized. Yet, they found themselves a flight, begrudgingly playing the part of the still happy couple, for a wedding -- the mutual friend's who'd introduced them, to be specific.

PAST:
As a child, Nihar came from a rich family. Their parents themselves were not originally rich but came up in the world. When their parents were lost to a car crash, it was up to their eldest brother to handle the family situations but he made a bad deal. The family very quickly lost everything and with seven mouths to feed, they all did what they had to.
Nihar was fourteen (14) when they lost it all, parents, home, friends. They packed up and moved away as quickly and quietly as they could but their fresh start quickly turned sour. A year later, a series of bad gambles from her second brother dropped them further into financial ruin. Nihar took matters into their own hands. As a child, she had taken an interest into what their mother would call 'unladylike' hobbies but their father indulged their anyways: gymnastics, knives and fighting. Despite their elder brothers being taller, they could take them down easily and was quick on their feet. They were fifteen (15) when they started pickpocketing, sixteen (16) when they moved on to bigger things: robbing houses, twenty (20) when they went even further.
PRESENT & SURVIVAL SKILLS:
They passed whatever skills they could over to their siblings, doing jobs with both them and other groups, never revealing enough to lead anyone back to them. They'd become good at hiding the truth in those eleven (11) years and even better at sussing it out. Thief they may have been but their main trade was secrets. With a deserved confidence, they pulled off a successful heist with an ex partner (as a goodbye), enough to get them all on a flight to Australia.
They can fight, they're strong, stamina's great. They'd be a great asset on the island, so long as they decide they can trust you.
SOCIAL:
Nihar was from a big family, simultaneously loud and quiet, speaking when required and listening to everything. They're slippery, hard to pin down and hard to catch but only when you have the misfortune of going up against them. To friends, they're just a regular person, a bit odd maybe, but who wouldn't be when they've been through what Nihar had.

before:
Piper grew up in Fort Worth, Texas to a married pair who ran a successful estate agency. The youngest of three, she was doted on by her parents and often spoiled much more than her older brothers. She'd always wanted to be in the limelight, even from an early age, when she'd perform for anyone who'd listen and watch.
At the age of seven and after short negotiations with her parents, she was allowed to audition for minor roles, commercials, etc. Although she was having fun acting and being someone else; as she grew older, it became less about the performance and more about the benefits that came along with it. It became about money and the "celeb status", which followed her along with her career as she got older.
She soon developed a name for herself as something of a child star, and never really had to put in effort for auditions after that. A well known recognizable face appeals to the public, right? Life was a dream, and Piper didn't have to break a sweat.
After she'd graduated high school - a condition of her parents', she moved around to wherever the next role would take her, never really settling down in one place. But now she was auditioning for more mature roles, she had a lot more competition. And suddenly, these roles required something called talent, that no adolescent 'cuteness' could hide.
Despite the outward facade that Piper wears so well, she's smart. She knew she wouldn't be able to compete with these other actresses, and couldn't rely on her childhood accolades to carry her through adulthood. And she was right, as time and time again she was rejected for some fresh talent.
The idea of her slipping through the cracks and becoming another long gone child actor angered her and it wasn't a reality she wanted to make. As a last resort, she would reach out to casting directors and producers of a project through her contacts. Seduce them. Manipulate them. Blackmail them. It didn't always work, only if they had something to lose - like a partner or a family. But it did get her roles.

Piper was traveling to Sydney to shoot the sequel of her film where she starred (ironically) as the survivor of a plane crash. However, unlike her present situation, that was a comedy. She had requested to fly privately, but the studio had to "cut costs" and deemed she wasn't important enough to be treated to such a luxury.
As herself, she is not equipped to survive and knows that she cannot contribute anything resourceful. The only skill she may have is what she learned from her role as a survivor, which were limited to starting a small fire, but Piper's too shaken up to even remember how.
(Honestly, she's useless. Probably be the first to go.)

Overall, Piper's a typical "I do what I want" person. Not really in a 'badass' way, more of a "I will do nothing." It isn't necessarily that she means to act this way and hopefully with time, she will become less useless. She's just used to a certain way of life and being on this island wasn't on the agenda. Despite having to adapt herself for her roles, she will happily sit on that beach and wait all year for rescue to come without lifting a finger. If she knew that wouldn't make her absolutely hated by all.

THE PAST:
arden was born to high school sweethearts. her parents absolutely adored her, and from the very beginning, spoiled her. they protected her from absolutely everything, shielding her from all of the horrors in the world. this became a problem very quickly, as arden was then afraid of everything. she expected people to protect her from things, not in an entitled way, but more just in general. throughout elementary school, her parents were actually worried for her, because she'd scream at a bug, or was afraid of heights and wouldn't go on the monkey bars and would cry. arden was a chicken, and she hated it. she didn't want to be afraid of the world, but somehow, she was. there was one thing that she wasn't afraid of, despite how frightening it could be.
she wasn't afraid of the water. whether it was a pool or even the open ocean, arden absolutely adored it. her very first experience with water was a family friend's pool. after having floaties and a life jacket placed on her, her mother didn't think that little arden would vault herself into the pool. but she loved it and hated getting out of the pool. her fascination with the water made her parents curious. that next weekend, they took her to the beach. little arden waited patiently for her floaties and lifejacket to be put on, as she knew she couldn't swim just yet and then bolted to the water. she sat in the sand and let the waves wash over her and just laughed. after begging her mother for swim lessons, the family moved near the beach, just so arden could spend time by the water. it was the only thing she would run towards every single time and very quickly started going deeper so she could see all of the animals. her father taught her how to snorkel and scuba dive once she was older. the animals under the water made her so incredibly excited and that was when she knew that that was all she wanted to do; arden studied as much as she could about animals and wanted to spend the rest of her life with anything aquatic related. but is she scared of land animals and of airplanes and of everything else? yes.
THE PRESENT:
why did she buy the plane ticket you ask? despite her fear of airplanes, arden wanted to see the great barrier reef. she wanted to study all of the animals and aquatic life underneath the water. it was her absolute dream to see the world she'd spent so long learning about. sydney was the beginning. she'd spend time near the water there, then make her way up to the great barrier reef. it would be the trip of a lifetime. when the oxygen masks popped from the top, arden went into a full panic attack. she could barely get her mask on fast enough and tried her best not to completely lose it. grabbing her lifejacket as fast as she could, arden's fear nearly caused her to pass out. but she knew that once she was in the water, even though the plane was crashing, she'd be okay. when they crashed on the island, arden ran to the water and sat in it, trying to calm herself down.
she's still terrified of everything on the island, but she's noticed very quickly that showing everyone how scared she is is a bad idea. therefore, arden hides her panic attacks, and tries to be so brave, but it doesn't always work out in her favor.
SURVIVAL SKILLS:
arden doesn't have very many survival skills outside of the water. she can tell you what fish are good to eat, which ones will taste the best, and which ones are easy to catch. because she considers herself a friend of the water, she likes to think she's good at catching fish as well. so if you need food from the water, she's your girl. she also knows how to make drinkable water from the sea water, but can she even do that on an island? that much she's not sure about.
SOCIAL:
even though she's afraid of so many things, arden is an absolute sweetheart. she adores making friends, being around people and helping out in any way that she can. a lot of this stems from her fear of being alone. arden would much rather be trapped somewhere with people than be by herself. she doesn't much like to make enemies and in the case that she does, the absolute fear of having someone hate her will completely eat at her. honestly, she's just a precious bean, okay? just don't let her get scared, 'cause then we got lots of panic.

LULA is also known to be CHARISMATIC yet also ALOOF at times. we have a couple questions for LULA when we find HER, we heard something about a secret they might have? such as SHES BEEN GATHERING INTEL FOR HER AUNT’S LINE TO UPSTAGE A RIVAL DESIGNER WHO TEACHES AT THE UNIVERSITY, ALL THE WHILE BLOGGING HER COLLEGE EXPERIENCE ON LIVEJOURNAL WHICH LAUNCHED EARLIER IN THE YEAR ‘99!
THE PAST:
lula, or lu to her friends, has been the outgoing social butterfly type her entire life. she had friends easily, wherever she went, because being close to lula renfield was like basking in the warmth of the sun. she attracted people to her with her warm smile and sunny disposition, and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
she's calm, cool, and collected when needed to be, but you can tell there's a little demon menace waiting to be set free inside her. all it takes is a well-placed insult, or one she perceives as such. when livejournal launched, she was instantly interested, and set out to start the most successful blog there had ever been. for the most part, she just blogged about her day-to-day life, but people quickly started clamoring for the behind-the-scenes gossip surrounding the events she was always being seen at and posting little updates about.
a little bit of an airhead, with her pretty blonde head in the clouds, she's generally a pretty nice person. that is, unless you directly threatened her family. in which case, she was ready to destroy you. this isn't necessarily the reason she chose to enroll into college as a fashion merchandising major per se, but getting to be that close to her aunt's rival was definitely a perk.
she was happy as a lark to chronicle her life on her little blog, walk in her aunt's runway shows as the most uninspired model the runway had ever seen, and enjoy the life of luxury and leisure she was building for herself.
THE PRESENT & SURVIVIAL SKILLS:
lu has no survival skills. as a former employer of a full household staff, she's got no clue how to survive on her own. she bought the ticket with the intention of visiting a friend who had recently moved back to sydney and exploring a new city. she never thought this is what would end up happening.
SOCIAL:
lu is very much a lover, not a fighter. she operates with love first and then will resort to more aggressive emotions and actions if she's not getting across what she wants to get across. in short, she will make things work for her.

THE PAST:
Born in Calgary, Brooke was raised by their mother mainly. Their father, a student from Texas, having passed away when Brooke was only very small.
Brooke had an interest in art since she was very little but never really found an outlet for it until a "mysterious" person started putting up graffiti in her hometown.
While he spent most of his life immediately before the crash in San Francisco, spending time with his mother's family is very important to him, and he misses them immensely when it's been a while since he's visited.
Despite their connections to home they decided to move further away in order to have a bit of adventure for college.
Brooke got a degree in nursing while at college in San Francisco and minored in Psychology.
THE PRESENT & SURVIVIAL SKILLS:
He decided to take a holiday away after a particularly stressful year of work, having rarely taken time off his supervisor allowed it and he bought a ticket for the fated flight.
They don't have much in the way of traditional survival skills, unfortunately.

Myles “My” Vasa Cohen was born in Huston, Texas to Nuanua Vaai and Skylar Cohen a pilot and doula respectively. He has two siblings, a brother and a sister who he grew up with. Their father was often away for work but when he was back he’d always bring them gifts and sweets from the places he’d been.
At age around 7 he was diagnosed with Dyslexia and Asperger’s, which a lot of his teachers took to mean he would not excel at school. They couldn’t be more wrong, a good student, Myles’ grades were steadily good and very quickly he knew he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up. He came out as trans when he was 15, then as gay when he was 18, and to his relief both of his parents were nothing but supportive.
Apart from his future goals of being a doctor, Myles had and still has a keen interest in Norse Mythology and Pokemon, though he often doesn’t admit it he has a large collection of the cards, some of which he brought with him on the ill-fated flight to Australia. He continued to succeed in school and once he did pre-med he attended the UCSF School of Medicine, where after a few dead-end relationships he met his partner.
The two settled down in a townhouse in San Francisco with their 3 rescue cats (“his babies”): Donnie, Joey and Sookie. Myles took up a job at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital’s ER department, where, though incredibly stressful due to the struggles of having to deal with the long hours, severe injuries and deaths he witnessed on a near daily basis My loves his job. While not officially married, Myles will usually refer to his partner as his husband.
My and his husband decided to go on holiday to Australia for a few weeks in order to de-stress a bit and relax, leaving the care of their “babies” to Chase’s sister.
Unfortunately for them, the trip would be anything but relaxing…

Elizabeth Klein, also known as 'Ellie' by close friends and family— or at least that's what she would be known as if any of them were still around.
THE PAST: life has not been kind to her.
She was born on October 8, 1960, just 4 seconds before her twin sister, in the middle of a blackout. They were raised in London by their single mother. Life wasn't extraordinary by any means, which in a way contributed to Ellie's search for adventure, knowledge and thrills.
She was really close to her sister growing up. Being the eldest of the two, she took on the role of taking care of herself and her younger twin while her mother worked endless jobs to provide for the two of them. It was never easy— her sister made things even more difficult— but they made it through the other side.
Ellie is extremely knowledgeable in her field, which can often come off as intimidating or condescending. She first discovered her love for archeology during a school trip to The British Museum. ‘It was love at first sight,’ she often recalls, and she knew this was where she wanted to be. By the age of 25, she was the youngest and brightest female employee at the museum. Her work became her life, which led to some distance between her and her sister. Work didn’t leave much room for dating either.
That is, until she met Daniel. Daniel worked in a different department, but their paths would often cross. It seemed like fate when they were assigned to oversee an expedition in Athens. Heartbreak would soon follow and it’s a tale that still leaves a sour taste in her mouth. Daniel would cheat on her with her sister. The final slap to the face came when the two announced their engagement.
Needing some distance and to start anew, she transferred to California. She tried to look at the positive and she decided to take a new approach at this clean slate. In the end, she discovered a lot about herself.
THE PRESENT & SURVIVIAL SKILLS:
On December 31st, 1999, Elizabeth boarded a plane to Australia for fun work, but mostly for a break from her mundane every day life and in search of something new. Little did she know that she was actually in for the adventure of a lifetime!
Having been on quite a few archeological excavations— even led some herself— all over the world, she’s actually more capable than she looks. While the circumstances aren’t the best, she considers this a magnificent opportunity to explore, learn, and study..not just the island, but themselves as well.

Autumn “Autie” Hope Morgan was born on the 4th of May to a Australian woman (an absolute hippie) who runs a New Age trinket and bookstore and a American nursing student in Melbourne, Australia. They were raised most of their life there until her father and mother divorced when she was 10. After this point, she would spend weekends with her dad, but they spent the majority of their time with her mum.
They also have two half siblings who she was raised with by her mother and stepfather Todd. When Autumn was 21 their father moved back to the USA in order to be closer to his parents, which was initially very hard for Autumn because she and her dad are close. They struggled with the idea of not being able to drive and see him. After then she would visit her father and then later step mother and half siblings in San Fransisco as often as they could make the trip. Of course it wasn’t the same.
They were diagnosed in her early teens with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) and they had three clear special interests: Stargate SG1, survival documentaries and ballet. She can cycle through the intensity of these interests but in the end they’re always there. They have a collection of Stargate memorabilia, all of their well-loved (read: now grainy from being rewound so much) VHS copies of the series, as well as a laserdisc copy of the original Kurt Russell movie.
As for the survival documentaries, she’d often video record those too so she could rewatch them at their leisure. They’d often put one or other of these on while working on the paperwork that naturally comes with a business, just to feel like they had some company while they worked.
Her mum very much leaned into the latter, providing them with as much resources as she had to peruse ballet lessons growing up, along with other kinds of dance, though ballet was always their passion. She practised hard, and had a natural talent, and performed for several years with The Australian Ballet, until she retired from performing at 30 in order to go into teaching dance instead, which allowed them a lot more flexibility outside of work.
After their grandfather passed, Autumn travelled to San Francisco to attend her his funeral and to spend time with her father and her wider family. Once she’d finished visiting with her family and headed home, she took her half-sister Lyla with her, as she had planned a holiday in Australia and wanted some moral support. They and their sister boarded flight AA78 expecting to have nice time after a not so nice family event.
Unfortunately for them, the universe had other plans…

They eventually became the Assistant Manager, not out of talent or skill, but because he'd just been there so long.
He had gotten on the plane to Australia to meet up with a friend he'd made in a chatroom for Mariah Carey fans.
SKILLS:
If Skylar has skills that would be useful, he's going out of his way not to use them.
Sky wants to be lazy as possible. This is just an extended vacation for him. If he dies here and never has to fold another shirt or put up with another customer? Good. That's a happy ending.
Genuinely, though, Sky's best skill is calming other people down and bringing them together. Work shit, you know.

Skylar is chill. Like, frustratingly so. He refuses to have an emotion that's not neutral. If someone forces him to have a strong emotion, he will literally just start crying and then try to take a nap.
Despite this, he's usually pretty good at motivating other people and making them feel included in any group. He's had to learn because he got sick of doing closing procedures by himself. Inspiring other people and making them feel like part of a family is a great way to get out of doing chores.
He's a slut. In theory. No one's ever actually taken him up on it. He still has like 1000 shirts that say 'Bimbo' in the Barbie font, though.

born in london, anne is the daughter of a big corporate attorney and law firm owner. she was born into a very privileged home but never really cared about any of that, especially since she has had a pretty rocky relationship with her parents. after graduating from high school, she moved to california to get away from that environment. now, she realizes how much she misses her family, even though she will never admit it to anyone.
THE PRESENT & SURVIVIAL SKILLS:
anne and her boyfriend have been together for a few years, and given the fact that they both have a very similar background, they have a good relationship - a little too good, actually. a few months ago, after a night of partying, things got a bit too wild, which resulted in a sex tape being handed to the press. in an attempt to keep things quiet, they decided to get away from everything until things cooled down. what better place to do it than a deserted island?
she's pretty athletic, and the only survival skill she has is that she can fight. she took krav maga lessons for years and can handle herself pretty well around guns and knives, but other than that, she can't really do much.

PAST:
He grew up in the middle of nowhere, Oklahoma, to a family of farmers. When he was born, the cattle got sick and that was what got him into science. He went on to be the first person in his direct family line to graduate from University, let alone the first doctor.
To say Bran was born with bad luck would be both mean and accurate. If he were to drive, either car troubles or traffic would get in the way. Biking? Crash or be crashed into.
His stroke of good luck, however, came from a fellow scientist and silky hair butterflies. Being one of the older members of the team, Bran helped keep things on track, until things went sidewards.
PRESENT & SURVIVAL SKILLS:
After a few years of working with NASA and stockpiling vacation days, when his old teammate contacts him, extending an olive branch, he decides to bury the hatchet. Unfortunately, the hatchet seems to want to bury itself in him as the bad luck continues - the plane crashes. Of course, it does.
Standing at a solid 6"5 and having grown up on a farm, paired with regular kickboxing, Bran is strong enough to help with any heavy lifting, with stamina to spare. His farming background also makes them good with animals and cooking 'from the Earth' (aka he used to regularly camp w his dad and brothers for the sake of 'survival skills').

Bran grew up in a big, comfortable family, preferring his own company to other peoples’. Despite his height, he was the shortest of his brothers by mere centimetres but he made up for it by being the eldest. Simon had always known that he was meant for great things. He’d heard it so many times that the refrain felt as if it was imprinted on his soul. As a child, playing for his local club’s youth team, the word prodigy had been thrown around, unsurprisingly seeing as both of his parents had played professionally throughout their 20s, before retiring, marrying, and moving to LA.
As he grew, the questions continued -- would Simon follow in his parents' footsteps? Would he play for their old clubs or would he carve out a path completely his own, outside of their shadows?
It should've come as no surprise, then, when Simon was signed to EPL club, Arsenal FC. The club had gained a reputation of scouting and signing youngsters, and had been his father's club throughout his childhood and professional career.
Unfortunately, Simon quickly gained two reputations – one, on the pitch for being difficult to work with and one off the pitch for being a playboy. He was often carded and benched for making too many rough tackles or for arguing with other players and referees. Even more frequently, he was photographed partying or with some new presumed lover. As much as Simon achieved in his career, the span of it was marred by hints of scandals.
At the end of the 1999 season, Simon made the decision to retire. This flight was intended to be a celebration of a parting of ways with the sport he'd given so much of his life to. That, and a getaway with the person he's been secretly dating for the last year... So much far a vacation.

Willow grew up in a rather large household in Sydney. She was the second youngest, with a brother ten years older than her. Her mum also came from a larger family and her father a smaller one. The Mistry house was always kind of chaotic. Between after school activities and school functions, there was never a calm day in their house. Willow thrived in the chaos of it all, finding time for herself whenever she could. Unlike her siblings, Willow was never a "go getter" like her parents wanted her to be. She was social, but she didn't really like the concept of being involved in tons of activities. She would rather focus on her own peers than school, which really annoyed her parents. While her parents weren't super strict, they did want the best for their children and Willow was constantly in trouble for not doing what she should be doing. But she was a happy child, always smiling, doodling on anything she could, and constantly had her head in the clouds.
She really found who she wanted to be in high school. Like many of her friends, they were obsessed with fashion, but Willow especially had an eye for it. She loved coming up with fun ideas for clothing, inspired by nature and putting together outfits for her friends when they went out. It wasn't a career that she knew was simple to get into, but she still spend most of her time designing her own clothing line and focusing on developing her drawing skills. In the last two years of her schooling, she focused on finding a career path that didn't necessarily put her in university. Her parents were not pleased with this choice she made and the last two years of school, it was a point of contention between the three of them. Even her siblings took sides. But ultimately, Willow was stubborn enough that her parents figured she wasn't going to back down and relented.
She joined the workforce at eighteen, as a personal assistant to a woman who worked at a fashion magazine. Willow had no experience in the field, but she was determined to show her worth without going to university. And she did just that, within a few short months, she had proven herself to her boss. The work was not always easy, but Willow felt like she was doing well with her life. Although she was not making the same amount of money any of her siblings were, who had all ended up in careers that paid well. Willow was happy though. She flourished in the chaos of the magazine and got to see a lot of the newest fashions before anyone else, which was what she loved. The hours might have been long and often times thankless, but Willow didn't care because she was happier than if she would have gone to school. As she worked, she slowly started taking design courses.
At the age of twenty one, Willow met Tom, who worked in the fashion department as a personal assistant. The two hit it off and Willow was really excited when Tom eventually asked her on a date. She knew her parents would probably never approve of the match, but Willow didn't really care because she really enjoyed spending time with Tom. Her parents eventually met them, but Willow never mentioned they were dating. It was devastating when Tom eventually was picked to move to San Francisco where the magazine was opening a publication in America. While the two of them were not excited about the distance, Willow knew her life was still in Sydney for a little while longer. They decided to keep dating and would talk as often as they could, but also write letters to each other. It was difficult, though she was excited every time she got to hear Tom's voice on the phone.
Willow eventually saved up enough money that she could go visit Tom. But she used the excuse of visiting an aunt that lived in the general area. Her parents had no idea she was lying and that she had been lying to them for three years. She couldn't bring herself to explain that she had fallen in love because her parents questioned basically everything about her life. Willow packed her bags and found herself in America for two whole weeks. She loved it and when the time was up, she reluctantly got on a plane to go home.
PERSONALITY—
She's a very active person and doesn't sit still well. Willow pays attention to details and is always doodling on something. She seems a lot younger than she actually is at times though because she loved to complain. She's very stubborn. While she will strike up a conversation with just about anyone, Willow can be annoying when it comes to the topic of conversations as sometimes she just talks to talk. She can also come off as shallow and if she's doing something she really doesn't want to do, everyone will hear about it. If she wants to be alone, she's usually the type to grab her sketch pad and hide behind a drawing, but she refuses to communicate when she doesn't want to be around people. It's honestly very rare to see her in those moods though.
