Ummm.. ok. Sooo, based on the coment that you made about mikey being the other posible guardian of the lake (other than our dearest swannatello of course). I may or may not have drawn something. Do with it as you like. It is a very messy drawing.

As much as I love the idea of them being guardians together, the lake probably would have stuck to one. It probably would have tried to lure them both in and just took whoever they could grab first, though perhaps they would have had a slight preference for Mikey, actually. He has a lot more mystic potential than Donnie.

That being said, perhaps if they had both been there together, it would have been easier for them to resist the curse...

The curse would affect Mikey the same way it does Donnie. Mikey would be devastated if he knew that he could have potentially taken the curse on instead-- he would think that if he had been cursed instead of Donnie, the situation would be much better. He's confident that if they had Donnie fully on their team, they would have figured out a cure already, and he can't help but feel like he's not been able to help much so far...

And tbh, no one else besides his brothers has ever been dumb enough to hike out to a lake in the middle of the woods and say anything but "okay! bye!" to the magickal swan creature who threatens to murder them if they take one more step forward.
