#the classics: crippling angst on one hand and real good sitcom potential on the other

i have been deep in odysseus' lore today and that suckerpunch reminder that his sister's husband was at troy with him and then came home with him and (ofc) died with all the other men. and when you think about it, the men died because of odysseus' arrogance and, well, hubris ........ imagine killing your sister's husband for that.
bro, i wanna see the fallout.
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND ---- he and his brother-in-law hated each other and they fight A LOT in the odyssey, to the point where odysseus nearly kILLS him (very on brand for this bastard) and i would simply like a sitcom of penelope and ctimene trying to keep the peace at family dinners.
