i love how when i draw TF2xDBD stuff people assume that its the mercs being brought to the entity's realm which, to be fair, does make MORE sense. however my mental image is usually that the mercs did something to accidentally kidnap the DBD characters from the entity's realm and into the TF2 universe.

Like Merasmus was trying to summon something to kill the mercs or whatever and accidentally stole an eldritch god's play things. that'd probably be something he'd do.

#text #you see the entity couldn't kidnap the mercs and it WORK #because they'd be like 'yeah yeah infinite death loop whatever but am i gonna get paid for this?' #and as soon as the answer was 'no' they'd escape through some wacky antics. #the tf2 characters bring their universe's logic (or lackthereof) wherever they go and I do not believe the entity could stop it #the mercs make anything they are in a comedy inherently and i stand by that #the dbd characters however do not inherently make any situation into a HORROR one #so they could be thrown in the tf2 universe and would be bended to its rules. thats my thoughts.
