#ok so when people say that lucio doesn’t need the approval of the people he's wronged i get really mad #approval is the wrong word... more like forgiveness? #or at least showing he has the capacity to take accountability for his action #he orphaned asra and left him for dead #asra was stripped of his culture and his support system because lucio wanted his arm to be *unique* if I'm remembering asras route correctly #muriel was made to kill people for Lucio’s entertainment #when i see people saying that lucio doesn’t have to confront those he wronged because 'the world isn't fair' it hurts #fiction doesn’t have to be unfair #even if the world is cruel fiction doesn't have to be #fiction is controlled by the writer ITS NOT REAL LIFE #the devs chose to have those terrible things happen to poc #the devs chose to have them perpetrated by a white man #did they really forget that fiction has an effect on reality? #Lucio's route feels like a slap in the face me #how are you going to let a child seperator and an enslaver get off scot free #I swear to god it's so tone deaf #maybe I'm overreacting though #I do know that I want to cry #because once again it feels like the irl struggles of poc were used as character building #I'll delete this in like five minutes cause this is the most I've said publicly on how much I don't like lucio
