I hope this is ok to ask. Can I Britpick your brain about something for a fanfic I am writing? Would you ever put half and half in tea instead of milk or cream?

Happy to help, Anon! And the answer is no for two reasons.

The first is that we don’t have half and half in supermarkets over here in the UK, and secondly unless someone has relatively odd/specific tastes, we don’t generally put cream anywhere near tea. Coffee maybe, but never tea. The creamiest you’ll get is someone adding whole milk to tea, which a lot of folks do. Obviously this is just one ‘Brit’ talking though…
