one really absolutely fun facet of memory loss is that you get reminded about it by the weirdest fucking things. my top 3 weapons in spla2n by ink coverage & most wins are weapons i KNOW i mained bc i have clips of them but i have no memory of maining. yall ive only played spla2n since like, 2019

#like the thing is i hardly main weapons at all anymore #getting back into the game ive had an affinity for splatlings but like #when i dropped those and got into backlining i wanted to stay versatile #so even tho i think of myself as a splatling player my highest splatling is below my old mains #which were nzap 89 (i knew i mained it bc i had an oc who mained it but it's my HIGHEST INK WEAPON) #(HOW I HAVENT PLAYED IT SINCE I LEFT B RANK) #the mini with the burst bombs which i havent played much recently but it's still the love of my life #and the nzap with armor because it's just the 89 but useful #but yeah i have no memory of maining 89. #how. #the mc of my current nano story mains 89 because a lot of him is a rework of my first splat oc #down to the name (link) the family and also the main #completely new personality story and style #but yea the reason my first splat oc played 89 is because he was MY player character and i mained 89 when i started the game #enough that even after playing the game for like 2 more years after switching from that weapon it is my highest weapon by ink coverage and #wins... #and it's a complete blank #trying to recall USING it #nd like. that in and of itself may be kinda normal. it's the lack of memory of 2019/2020 that this is related to that has me like #ok! cool!
