i didnt post about it here but im still in awe of the fact that in pkmn scarlet yesterday i stumbled across two random shiny kilowattrel on the same goddamn beach not even 20 minutes apart from each other (even less time than that in-game since most of those 20 minutes were spent with the game paused). i also found a shiny bisharp last week but ive NEVER gotten two shinies back to back like that

#i dont actively hunt so nearly all the shinies ive gotten over the years are random encounters or inherited #the most ive ever gotten in one game myself are all from legends arceus #which isnt much of a surprise. its also the only game ive bothered to get the shiny charm in #the last time i opened it just to explore a little i found a shiny graveler within half an hour #it wasnt even the first shiny graveler i'd gotten in that game. i have two of the bastards now #txt #anyway. i named the birds kelp and algae respectively to match the non-shiny one on my team (seaweed).
