Before I go sleep, heres an au thats been living rent free in my head since I rewatched Tournement of Elements

Y'know how after stealing the elemental powers of those who lost the tournement Chen sends them to the noodle factory to work as slaves for the forceeable future, what if he branded them with the Anacondrai mark to basically mark them as his. And when the cultists are transformed into Anacondrai, so too are the Elemental Masters that have been marked.

Kai, Jay, Lloyd, Neuro, Shade, Griffin and Paleman weren't marked, and Zane is a Nindroid, can't exactly tattoo a Nindroid.

They have to watch as Garmadon, Cole, Skylor and the other Elemental Masters are turned to Anacondrai.

Luckily the transformation isn't permanent and they all return back to normal once Chen and his cultists are cursed. Doesn't mean it wasn't a little bit traumatising.
