The clean out and revamping of the studio continues. Today it was “hey this thing you’ve been using as an organizer on the back of the door doesn’t actually work; let’s put all this yarn etc in boxes”

I am torn between joy over a working door, unease because when things are in boxes I forget about them, and chagrin that I’ve rarely used these particular materials despite looking at them nearly every day.

#to be fair to me one reason I’ve rarely used it is as the quote unquote multipurpose room the studio has been frequently too messy and #generally overrun to do any projects in at all #my life #the studio will no longer be multipurpose. it will be yarn hours all the time #except when it’s fabric hours #one of my best friends used to be a professional organizer. like helping hoarders #she’s holding my hand through this entire process #mostly by giving me courage to Throw Things Away
